"Entreveros" presents an image of rupture that is part of the aesthetic inquiries that the artist has been working on., from the sixties to the present, and that configure a new way of thinking and living "painting" in relation to the surrounding space..
A) Yes, in pioneering works such as "Mambo" (1962) and "Hope of a painter" (1964), the exploration of the concepts of divided painting and broken vision are linked to the space by turning the frame or incorporating frames on the works.
From this process of construction and deconstruction, its facilities are born: “Balance” (1964-65), "Introduction to chaos" (1964), "That's life, miss" (1965) -created in New York and then destroyed-, "Being national" (1965), "National establishment" (1994), "Reflections with and out of context" (2000) and "Coherent Oxymoron" (2014), are some of the most emblematic.
In the creation of "Entreveros", the artist takes up the irregular volumes that come into play with color and line, add organic forms, broken mirrors and ceramics that chaotically unfold in and between the fragments that make up their possible structure. Viewers are installed in an experience that seems to question our sense of stability and dominance of the world to participate in its "true" nature..
