Edited by InterZona, This work brings together forty-three prose poems inspired by the figure of an enigmatic historical figure of the Italian Renaissance., immortalized in Argentine literature by Manuel Mujica Láinez in his historical novel, Bomarzo, of 1962.

Pierfrancesco Orsini (1523-1585), better known as the Duke of Bomarzo, was a nobleman from Italian Lazio, famous for ordering the construction of a magnificent forest of immense stone sculptures. In the form of monsters and gods, the origin and meaning of these statues is a mystery to this day.

First published in Mexico in 2009, "La boca del Infierno" reaches the Argentine reading public for the first time. This new revised edition of InterZona includes an epilogue by Jorge Monteleone and a selection of photos of the stone monsters that make up the Bomarzo Forest designed by the Duke, complemented by a site map.
