Old books, rare, rare and unique will be exhibited by 25 exhibitors during the 14th Buenos Aires Old Fair, organized by the Association of Antique Booksellers of Argentina (Winged), which will start today at 18 virtually and will continue until next Sunday.

This new edition will begin with a talk by Víctor Aizenman on bibliophilia, that will be broadcast on the youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTSUIkhaSUU.

On the https page://alada.org.ar, collectors, bibliophile, curious, Researchers and readers will be able to see treasured copies in bookstores from the 15th century to the first editions of 20th century collector's items..

Created in 2004, this fair gathers copies that, unlike the used book, they are rare or scarce because they belong to limited or initial editions, for having a handwritten dedication from its authors, for the exquisiteness of its conception, or for containing original illustrations by artists that give it the status of small works of art.

In this edition, the Fair will include talks, interviews and presentations that will convene, among others, to Sergio Pujol, who will reflect on the exercise of biographing as a way of narrating cultural history, or the artistic collective “Paper Works”, which will present a collection based on the work of Jorge Luis Borges and Silvina Ocampo.

Meanwhile, Ral Veroni will present his “River Plate theater of entities”; while Sol Rébora, Goldztein flower, Fermina Ziaurriz and Elena Padín, they will talk about the binding, restoration and conservation of the book.

While Natalia Méndez, Juan Olcese and Daniel Zachariah will address the history of the children's book; theater director Rafael Spregelburd will speak about “The illegible”; and Mariana Docampo, director of the “The old collection” will expose on the first Argentine writers.
