The Art Week is renewed with more than 100 free activities

Between 27 September and 4 A new edition of the Art Week will take place in October, the classic Buenos Aires meeting that proposes more than 100 activities between exhibitions, tributes and audiovisual experiences around the entire city.

as in every meeting, this proposal puts the spotlight on the local art scene, unifying an artistic calendar that begins with the Pinta BAphoto fair, continues with the Art Week and the Architecture Biennial and concludes with the contemporary art fair ARTEBA.

As Avogadro explained, this initiative means "the reflection of joint work to continue strengthening and amplifying our offer of contemporary art" and in turn added that it is "one of the most complete and diverse proposals in the City" because "it is integrated into the public space and brings art closer to neighbors, neighbors and visitors. Each edition of the event is different and has its own identity, thanks to the winning artists of the open call that takes place year after year”.

In that same line, Noelia Novosel expressed herself, coordinator of the Visual Arts area of ​​the Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture, noting that "Art Week not only allows us to rediscover the City through contemporary art but also to understand the importance of public space and its link with art for the incorporation of new audiences and new spaces for reflection, together with national artists and their institutions”.

Within that context, during the eight days of Art Week, the City will become a large open-air museum in multiple locations. there will be exhibits, talks, performances, screening of documentaries, tributes to great national artists, training modules and more activities to enjoy in squares, theaters, subway stations, cultural institutions and other spaces.
