Opened the call for the Contest of Letters of the National Endowment for the Arts
In the last few hours, the National Fund for the Arts announced the beginning of the call for the Contest of Letters 2022.
This call will be extended until 13 September and is open to writers and writers, illustrators who reward literary works from all over the country.
The prizes for this Contest range from 150 until the 250 thousand pesos for the winners of each of the categories. To be part of, You only have to register online through the FNA website.
Those interested in participating must be older than 18 years residing in the country. further, works of shared authorship may be submitted, but collective creations will not be accepted, compilations, or works created by more than two authors.
As for the categories, they are Story, Novel, graphic novel, Essay/Nonfiction and Poetry. The Essay/Nonfiction category includes, at the same time, works inscribed in the genre of literary essay, Chronicle, biographies, Memoirs or Reports. There will be three prizes for each category..
Each participant may present only one work per genre. The work must be unpublished and in Spanish.. It must not have been published in any physical or virtual medium or have previously received other national or international awards..
The works will be evaluated by a Jury made up of Miguel Ángel Vitagliano, Edgar Patrick Scott and Louise Valenzuela (Novel); Alejandra Kamiya, Mark Herrera, Horacio Fiebelkorn (Story); Paula Jimenez, Valeria Pariso and Silvana Franzetti (Poetry); Paula Perez Alonso, Teresa Arijon and Flavia Costa (Essay/Nonfiction) and Diego Agrimbau, Dolores Alcatena and Gato Fernandez (graphic novel).
